TGUPP (Tim Gubernur untuk Percepatan Pembangunan) DKI Jakarta or Governor's Team for the Acceleration of Development of DKI Jakarta strategic initiative aimed at driving rapid and effective development in Jakarta, addressing urban challenges, and improving the city's infrastructure and services. We had an opportunity to design their merchandise in 2019, and one of them is an acrylic decoration with Betawi theme. The souvenir is made from acrylic, a durable and clear material that allows for intricate designs and vibrant colours. The design features traditional Betawi elements, such as motifs, patterns, or symbols associated with Betawi culture. The artwork is typically detailed and crafted to reflect the authenticity and beauty of Betawi art. It includes representations of iconic Betawi traditional performances and cultural symbols like ondel – ondel.
